about.
about.
I am a writer, maker and performer from Waterford, Ireland. I trained at The Lir Academy, Ireland’s National Academy of Dramatic Art. My main focus is to form roles representing societal eccentricities, often through use of distinct physicality. Over the past ten years, I have worked with exceptional companies across many modes of creation — theatre, film, site-specific, musical, and more. Over the past four years my artistic output has evolved, becoming lead artist across projects as both writer and producer.
In 2024, I developed my movement practice through the lens of neuroscience. My aim as a writer is to put a lens on the internal rhythms of a human. I believe by considering our neurological makeup, we can better understand the line of connection between spectator and performer. In 2025, I will be working with Irish Theatre Institute, as part of the 'Six in the Attic' Programme.
I play with a strong sense of place in my scripts, along with striking imagery and dark humour.
